A private operating system for one person's work and life.
CioffiLabs is a personal system built and used by Carmine Cioffi. It reads his own calendar and email, works out what he has committed to and what is at risk of slipping, and reports back once a day.
What it does
- Reads, then reasons
- Scheduled jobs pull the owner's schedule and mail, extract the commitments buried in them, and build a running picture of what is open.
- Surfaces what is slipping
- A question asked six days ago with no answer, against a deadline four days out, is the kind of thing it exists to catch.
- Reports once a day
- One brief, on a phone, in the morning. It is not a feed and there is nothing to check through the day.
Who can use it
Nobody else. This is a single-user system with no sign-up, no accounts and no public product behind it. It is published here because connecting it to Google requires a public home page and a privacy policy, and because those should be real rather than placeholders.
The only Google accounts it ever touches are the owner's own, and it holds read-only permission on both. It cannot send mail, and it cannot change a calendar.
